Being part of a spiritual community has had a profound impact upon my life. Learning from the elders, hearing their teachings and sacred connection to the land has been a great blessing which I’m forever thankful for. Indigenous ceremonies are rooted in connection to Mother Earth.
All humans have a spirit and at one time, people revered a spiritual connection to the earth. Ogichi Tibakonigaywin, The Great Binding Law, connects us all to one another and the earth. The Great Binding teaches that us humans have lost our connection in life unlike our animal brothers and sisters who are still doing what they were originally instructed to do by Creator.
