Love Yourself

Love Yourself

Lately, I watched a Teal Swan Youtube video that struck a chord with me. She suggested repeating the mantra, “What would someone who loves themselves do?” for 365 days. Throughout my day, I stop and ask myself, “What would someone who loves themselves do?” When I am thinking fearful thoughts, I stop myself and think about being present and having gratitude, as opposed to choosing thoughts that create suffering in my life.

The most important thing we can do is to love ourselves. By learning to love ourselves, we will increase our joy and improve our quality of life. We create our own reality by the thoughts we think. By stopping ourselves from personal put downs, letting go of suffering, having gratitude and enjoying one’s present moments, we are consciously creating a different life experience. I hope you learn to love yourself, so the children of our next generation will know to treat themselves with love and kindness. Children learn from what they live with; therefore, we owe it to future generations to love ourselves and enjoy the lives we have been blessed with.
