Insight

Sometimes insight from those around you is useful. Not too long ago, my brother let me know he was concerned about me. He was inquiring about why I hadn’t been as active as I usual am and let me know he was genuinely concerned.

He basically gave me the boost I needed to make changes to my fitness and eating habits. My brother was not shy to say, he did not agree with my behaviour over the last few years with some of the company I was entertaining. Needless to say, certain relationships did have negative affects on my well-being.

Dating is an extra-curricular activity as is being on social media. I am open to dating just not wasting time. My main focus is on taking care of myself not self avoidance. I utilize my time in a fine balance of wellness. It gives me pleasure to be putting to use a recipe that works best for my body (a variety of activities) and a consistent protein rich diet.

I could have been upset with my brother’s comments; however, I heard what he was saying and I’m grateful he was honest. I have and will continue to nurture my mind, body and spiritual health. No one is going to do it for me, and it’s something I must work on daily. Where we put our time is where we’ll yield results; time is valuable and life is short! I wish you well, namaste.
