Empathy and Love

Empathy and Love

We all can learn from children and animals how to love without condition. Pets naturally love without any sort of expectation or demand. If you give a child your loving attention, they will respond with kindness. Being around children and animals naturally uplifts one’s vibration. So why not spend time with those who unconditionally love? It’s good for your spirit.

There are several types of love we humans can give and receive, agape (universal love of the creator), philio (feeling of closeness or family connection), eros (romantic and lust filled), ludas (playful love, puppy love), pragma (mature love, usually develops between married couples over many years) and philautia (self-love).

Love is the most powerful force in this world. Love grows brains, and aids in human development. If we want to change the course of our human history, then we must teach our children to love and have empathy for all life. However, we cannot give what we do not have, but we can learn new behaviors; in order, to help our children grow up healthy. I know people who were not hugged as children, but have made it their mission to give their children the love they did not receive. I say watch a child or a dog, and pay attention how they naturally give their love away to those around them. Learning to love isn’t necessary easy, but it is definitely worth it.
