You have a life purpose. Every single one of us on this planet has a life purpose. Unfortunately, many people are not living their purpose. And, they are not experiencing happiness that comes from living a life of purpose. As I have mentioned in Pick a Career You Love, there is nothing worse than working a job you do not enjoy. Some times, we find ourselves working jobs that are not meaningful just to pay our bills.
Not everyone is meant to be a king, celebrity or sports star. I have friends who are teachers that absolutely love living their life purpose. An editor friend of mine is more than happy working for the newspaper company he writes for; knowing that his career is meaningful and full of purpose. Money does not equate happiness. How many people do you know who work long hours to pay for their material possessions? And who do not necessarily have the time throughout their days to do activities that bring them pleasure. There is absolutely nothing wrong with enjoying your quality of life; however, it is possible to live your life’s purpose, pay your bills and truly love what you add to life.
Living a purposeful life is doable; you just need to understand who you are and what gifts you have to share with the world. Take time to get to know yourself and listen to your heart when it comes to your life purpose: do what you love and add value to our world.
