Pick a career that you truly enjoy and that you could see yourself doing for the love of it. If you enjoy making Youtube videos and putting them online teaching people how to apply eyeliner, or you take lovely pictures and post them on Instagram because you dig photography; the odds are, you’re going to be successful in that line of work because you like it.
Life is short. You don’t want to pick a career based on the fact you want to make money or because your family thinks you should. It is truly an awful feeling to be working a job you don’t like just to pay your bills. You were brought to this life for a reason; you deserve to be wealthy and joyful about your line of work.
The sooner you get started in the career field you love: the better. The age old saying, it’s never too late could not be any truer. I say before making a career change, test out the waters in the career field you’re interested in by volunteering, working a part-time/summer job in the field of study you dig, take classes, start a small business and see if you could see yourself happy in that career field. You want to be happy and enthusiastic about your career while living your life’s purpose with grace and dignity.
