Good company is definitely a blessing! Humans are social beings. We do our best when we feel we belong and are of value in the communities we belong too. Establishing community requires effort as does maintaining any relationship. Sometimes, we must learn to tolerate others and do our best to be pleasant in the company of some. However, actually having a strong, supportive social network is truly a gift.
This past year has had it ups and downs. There have been several shifts in my personal life and with them has come some big changes. I am grateful to have had the love of those I trust and care about to help pull me through some tough times. It is easy to get down. It is not always easy to allow others to help us up. Lending someone an ear and giving honest advice costs nothing, yet they can make a massive difference in someone else’s life. Good company is hard to find; cherish it!
