I just read a fantastic quote, “Eat like you love yourself!” Truly and seriously, if you love and respect yourself do so in all aspects of your life. If you are just starting to take better care of yourself, congrats! I strongly suggest celebrating all the things you do to take care of your well-being. Self care is huge as is congratulating and celebrating yourself.

Bottom line, eat the highest quality of foods you can. Not every meal has to be top notch but what you eat is best if it provides your body with nutrients, minerals and vitamins. I prefer to eat whole grain breads, pastas, rice and a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables because they provide my body with plenty of fiber and nutrients. I add chia and flax seeds to my smoothies and oatmeal to up my fiber. And, I buy organic and free range options because I am worth it!

Eating well is a form of self respect. Don’t settle for foods that do not nourish your beautiful body. Make it a choice to learn about and take care of your dietary health one meal at a time. You are worth your own time and effort purchasing and preparing foods that we will used to your body’s usage. Love yourself through the foods you eat.
