Can you have a relationship with someone who is dishonest? You can’t! In fact, you can however the dishonesty would lend itself to resentment, fear, control, manipulation and desperation. Doesn’t sound like too much fun!
If there is no trust in a relationship, there is nothing! I have been blessed with some teachings recently that we must be grounded within ourselves and our own souls first and foremost. Also, choosing to be clear about what you don’t want in a relationship, being connected to your own soul and having a spiritual connection to a Higher Power will allow you the opportunity to have what you do want in your life and relationships.
People who are not connected to themselves or Spirit are far more likely to be dishonest. Speaking from experience, where dishonesty lays fear destroys peace of mind!
