This past year, one of my favorite elders left to the Spirit world. The teaching of the Light Blue, Henry Skywater, shared will continue to live on as long as we learn and share this beautiful teaching.
We all have been gifted with a Blue Light, it is our essence. How we care for our Blue Light will determine our wellbeing and life. We are responsible for this beautiful light that shines within us all. If we do not nurture and protect our Blue Light, our light will dull. If people choose to live in addiction (alcohol, relationship, gambling, sex, drug, work, video game, cell phone, etc) then our Blue Light will not blaze.
John Trudell taught that we live in a world that eats our spirit; lives off our spirit energy. Predatory energy in forms of people, systems, institutions and things. This predatory energy lives off our Blue Light.
How do you protect your Light? Do you distance yourself from those who do not love and respect themselves? Those who do not live on spiritual terms? It is wise to not give your beautiful heart and spirit energy to those who are not giving the same kind of love to themselves. They live off your spirit!
Your Blue Light is yours to love and protect. How brightly is your Light shining?
