Line Crossing

Line Crossing

The first inappropriate thing a person does to cross your boundaries is a warning. I wish I would I have left several relationships after the first time I was disappointed by the partners or friends who intentionally crossed the line. The first email, text, lie or comment that hooked me emotionally and intuitively could have saved me much pain and hurt, if I had chose to end things right then and there. I wish I had the insight as I do now to realize those relationships were not going to work out as they were not based on respect or truth.

Truly and seriously if there is no trust, there is nothing. You can fake it, but there will be fear and distrust. Those fearful thoughts will get in the way of goodness in your life and slow you down. As someone who has tried to maintain relationships with people I did not trust, I say the sooner you cut those toxic relationships out the less you’ll be plagued by fears, doubts and their insecurities.

I read at a 12 step meeting to learn to not trust untrustworthy people, it just took a long to sink in and understand it. My advice is move on to allow trustable people in your life who know better than to hurt you and themselves by the unloving things they do. Have empathy for others but don’t settle for disrespect; let go and go with the best of intentions toward things that will serve you. xo
