Respect Life

Respect Life

The life of a chicken raised on most conventional farms is unimaginably and unnecessarily cruel. Chickens are social animals; they have feelings and are intelligent beings. Regrettably, the food industry does not think that chickens deserve to expand their wings, forage or see the natural light of day throughout their existence in battery cages.

I challenge you to look at images of chickens in battery cages; the images are shocking and disgusting. Over the course of the last couple months, I have bonded with chickens at my friend’s animal sanctuary. As soon as they see my vehicle pull into the yard, they all come running to greet me. I always have a little treat for them and follow me around the farm as I visit Rose and Sally (my adoptive horses). Bottom line, there is no way any chicken should ever be treated with cruelty.

If we all try our best to buy products that treat animal and human life with compassion and empathy, together, we can change the course of destiny for all living beings on this planet.
