Drink water! You should aim at drinking 8 cups of water a day. As soon as you wake up, drink 1-2 glasses of water to get your kidneys optimally functioning. Also, drink a glass of water with every meal. Your urine should be clear to a light lemonade color. If your pee is yellow, drink up, your body needs more water.

Ditch pop, instead drink water. Reduce the amount of empty calories in your diet by doing away with pop and energy drinks. One of the easiest ways to get off unnecessary pounds is to drink more water and less sugary drinks.

Your skin will glow, your body will feel better and your cells and organs will have the proper amount of water they need to function and do their job. You don’t have to go overboard, 2-3 liters water a day is more than plenty. Simply just drinking more water will make a huge difference in your energy level and overall health. Try to drink out of glass containers and keep a glass pitcher of water in the fridge to avoid wasting water running it from the tap. Add lemons, limes, berries, cucumber, etc. for added flavor. There’s no need to add unnecessary chemicals to your water; stick to good old fashioned water.
