Alcohol has become a much too depended upon social lubricant. Many social gatherings are based upon the consumption of alcohol. After three years of intentionally choosing not to drink, I can say I have more fun now then I did when I drank alcohol. It hurts my heart that the youth of this generation are being mislead to believe that excessively drinking is socially acceptable and encouraged throughout media sources. I pray children learn to value themselves and develop a relationship with a higher power before their first coming of age drink. You can have fun without alcohol, I suggest trying it!
