Being Okay on Your Own

Being Okay on Your Own

My cousin recently reminded me that we need to be content with what we have. Discontentment blocks manifestation and good in one’s life. I’ve been in relationships, I have not been happy in. I know numerous people who are not happy together and deep down know their relationship is not meant to be. At this point in time, I am wise enough to not get myself entangled in relationships that are not true to my heart and soul. Yes, you might have some lonely days and lonely nights, but they’re not going to kill you. Codependency kills! So, why waste time being unhappy?

If you’re struggling with being alone and are feeling hopeless, stop it! Do more of the activities you enjoy, spend time with the people you like and use this time to create what you want. Instead of getting involved in something dysfunctional which might be your norm, don’t! What if a relationship destroys your peace of mind, hurts your spirit and heart? Stay away from manipulators, re-new your mind, do what you enjoy and appreciate what you have.

Right now, I am passionately living my life and I am using the gifts my Higher Power has given to me. I am singing, writing and speaking while working as an educator. Needless too say, time management is of the essence. Why would I want to waste time being in a relationship I am not happy in, just for the sake of not being alone? Have faith that beautiful, soul fulfilling love you so rightfully deserve is on its way; a type of love that reminds you of why you waited for the right one.

Love and honour yourself in all that you do.
