It is important to stretch your muscles. Through out the day, your muscles are constantly moving and supporting your body. Often times, people skip stretching their muscles before and after a workout. Not good! Your muscles need to be warmed and loosened up before a workout and they lengthen and actually strengthen when you stretch after exercising. Regardless if you are working out or not, it’s wise to stretch your muscles on a regular basis. Your body will thank you!
