We all need to think about what we are eating. I have read that on average, we tend to eat the same 20 foods on a regular basis. Really what do those foods consist of? Trans fats, sugars, fresh vegetables, whole grains; what are you eating? Before heading to the supermarket, it is wise to think about your meal plan for the week and pick out foods that are health benefiting. I suggest trying new healthy foods and recipes each week. You can also challenge yourself to add more vegetables and fresh herbs to your recipes. Don’t leave your health up to chance; know what you’re eating and plan for success. Your health is in your hands, eat smart!
