Hustle and Bustle

Hustle and Bustle

City life is filled with constant fast paced movement. Many city-dwellers rarely leave cities and connect to nature. For most of human history, human beings lived in the vastness of country-sides; however, across the world today over 55% of people live in cities. There are many benefits and conveniences of living in an urban area, just as there are ways in which people lose their connection to the earth living within a city environment.

Making time to feel the richness of the powerful earth energy will improve your well-being. Simply walking among trees, walking barefoot on the grass or having a fire in one’s backyard are all tangible ways people can connect to sacred earth energy. I’m sure many of you feel a natural, innate desire to be outside often. Well, that is part of your natural human instinct to be connected to the earth.

Shopping has become a past time for many people, but shopping does not spiritually satisfy our human needs. I say take a break from the hustle and bustle of city life and consciously take the time to get outdoors, uplift your mental and spiritual health and the well-being of your loved ones by connecting outdoors as opposed to staying within urban areas. Slow down and adopt the pace of nature!
