Health is most important. Health can be something we take for granted without realizing it. It seems once some of us are not healthy, we appreciate our health much more.
Our mind, body and spiritual well-being are our responsibility to take care of. When one of them are out of balance, our overall health is affected. The good thing about our bodies is that they have the ability to heal. They are remarkable beings that can heal and repair themselves.
One practice that might help you from Buddhist teacher, Thich Nhat Hanh, is to ask yourself what you want and to tell yourself that you are there for you and that you love yourself. Once you start to do this practice, it will allow you to do it for others.
