My 80 year old Grandfather is in impressive physical health as a result of a lifetime of functional body training. Functional training refers to training the body for activities performed daily. My Grandfather still cuts 6-8 cords of wood a year. Obviously, his core and back muscles are strong as a result of him functionally using his body. Chopping wood, shovelling, climbing stairs and carrying groceries are all ways to enhance your overall strength and endurance. I plan on using my body now to ensure I am fit and strong when old age comes around, I hope you do too.
