If you are not buying free range or free run eggs, you are buying eggs produced through the most inhumane conditions imaginable. Chickens are meant to peck, perch, run and move not be confined to cages where they are unable to open their wings their entire lives. This spring check out some Farmers’ Markets, support businesses that buy directly from local free range farmers and buy compassionately produced products already in supermarkets. It is part of my life purpose to speak up for animals who are unable to defend themselves. Do what you can, each and everyday.
