Swearing is a bad habit anyone can get accustomed to. When conversing with people, I’ve been doing my best to not swear; instead, I have been using others words to articulate myself. Swearing can be extremely negative and difficult to listen to. There are ways to be assertive without having to forcefully cuss throughout conversations. Children learn from what they live with, then unfortunately they normalize swearing as an acceptable way to speak. By no means is anyone perfect; however, we can all benefit from doing away with negative, aggressive language.
