Every food choice you make is either helping or harming you. Eating healthy does not require a lot of work, it just takes consistent, thoughtful effort. Try a few of these suggestions: instead of frying foods, bake them, lay off hamburger for one night and substitute bison or turkey, use real cheese instead of processed choices and add fresh garlic, onions and herbs to your meals. You will notice your food is more flavorful with added vegetables, herbs and garlic.
I’ve mentioned before health now is like money in the bank when you’re older. Take care of your heart health by eating foods that do not clog and deteriorate your arteries. Bake, broil and steam your meals as often as possible; don’t forget to eat 5-10 vegetables and fruits daily. Your body will thank you.
