A wise elder used to tell me happiness is an inside job. Finally, years later I get what he was saying. I am the happiest I’ve been yet in this life. My friends, family and students keep telling me I laugh and smile more.
I feel less resentment and more fulfillment. Certainly, I miss my beloved Copper. Thankfully, I have two fabulous cats whom I love and dot on. Things are not perfect yet I’m happy with the way they are. Being on a higher vibration feels great!
I am extremely cautious who I spend my time with. The friends and family I keep within my circle are top notch. You have to stick with the winners and keep raising your standards. I know what I want is on it’s way and from day to day it’s my responsibility to be happy and grateful. It’s easy to be distracted and taken off the path of calm. Speaking from experience you cannot change or control people, places or things, but you can change the way you see things. Look for the good, surround yourself with positive energy and enjoy the results. Happiness truly is an inside job!
